Ashley River Organics is a 7-hectare orchard in Loburn, North Canterbury. Owners Mark and Annabelle have cared for the orchard for over twenty years and now grow more than twenty varieties of apples and pears under a BioGro-certified organic system. Seconds fruit is juiced on-site to ensure nothing goes to waste, and the farm practises sustainable growing methods to protect soil and river health. Visitors can buy fresh fruit and pure apple juices direct from the farm or from partner markets. The orchard is open weekdays with shorter hours on Saturdays.
