Bostock Brothers Organic Free Range Chicken is a certified organic poultry farm based in Hawke’s Bay, founded in 2014 by brothers Ben and George Bostock. Raised on their family’s organic apple orchard, the chickens live outdoors in spacious, purpose-built mobile chalets and roam freely among the trees once fully feathered. Their farming approach centres on patience and care — chickens grow at a natural pace, resulting in meat with depth of flavour and integrity. The birds are fed a certified organic, GMO-free diet that includes pasture, orchard forage, apples, and home-grown grains such as maize and barley. No antibiotics, hormones, synthetic chemicals, or chlorine baths are used at any stage. Bostock Brothers is the only chicken producer in Aotearoa to air-chill their birds, preserving flavour, avoiding added water weight, and reducing environmental impact.
