Doug and Eletheria Jones started their fruit growing journey in the early 1980s on a 10-hectare mixed fruit orchard. Over 30 years, Suncrest Orchard has blossomed into a successful enterprise where the family still works daily. The Jones Family Fruit Stall, widely known as ‘Mrs Jones Orchard’, fronts the orchard on State Highway 6 and is open year-round.
Visitors can buy a full range of fruit and vegetables grown locally, along with dried fruits, honey, preserves, and real fruit ice creams. Seasonal stonefruits are available for ordering as they become available. The stall offers a beautiful English-style rose garden to enjoy while shopping.
Online orders dispatch Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday within New Zealand only. The business is proudly NZ Family Owned and Operated, with the next generation managing the orchard, packhouse, and wine ventures.
