Hula is a chef-owned café and bar known for its ethos of “eat real food.” Founders Gabe and Rachel cook seasonally, making everything from their own chai and hot chocolate to chutneys, relishes, kimchi and sauerkraut. Breakfasts include hearty toasties and bowls built on Bread Mobile’s handmade organic sourdough, and the menu changes throughout the year to reflect what is fresh. The bar hosts live music and community events, and nearly all dishes, drinks and condiments are prepared in the Hula kitchen rather than bought in. Located near the marina, Hula offers a relaxed spot to enjoy wholesome, fermented foods and good coffee.
