Review policy
Reviews are reader-submitted notes intended to add context, not to turn the directory into a ranking system.
What reviews are for
Reviews help readers understand lived experience: what a place feels like, whether the listing still reflects reality, and whether details need correcting.
How reviews are handled
- Reviews are submitted directly to Homegrown and checked before publication.
- Submissions may be edited lightly for clarity, formatting, and privacy, but not for promotional spin.
- Corrections or factual updates included in a review are treated as maintenance input and may update the listing separately.
- Abusive, defamatory, irrelevant, or clearly bad-faith submissions are not published.
What reviews do not mean
- They do not create a ranked leaderboard.
- They do not replace direct verification of current hours, sourcing, or availability.
- They do not imply endorsement by Homegrown.
