Chestnut Brae is an organic and regenerative farm in Carlotta, near Nannup in Western Australia. John and Linda Stanley bought the 70-acre property in the South West in 2013 to build an organic, self-sufficient farm.
Mature sweet chestnut trees grow alongside mushroom crops and heirloom vegetables. The farm also keeps heritage animals and produces pork. Its approach combines organic growing and regenerative farming, with attention to the soil and the variety of food grown on the property.
The online shop offers fresh chestnuts in season, peeled frozen chestnuts, chestnut flour and rib bacon. Frozen peeled chestnuts come in 400g vacuum packs. Contact the farm to order bacon and ask about current stock and delivery arrangements. Tours need separate confirmation. Shop online.
