Egmont Honey began in 2008 when Toby Annabell was gifted a beehive by his son James. This single hive sparked a passion for authentic Mānuka Honey and ethical beekeeping that has grown to 4,000 hives in the native bush of their South Taranaki farm. The founders remain hands-on, with James as CEO and Toby as Operations Director, overseeing a purpose-built factory in New Plymouth.

The range includes Certified UMF, MGO, and Raw Mānuka Honey, alongside table honey blends of New Zealand’s native wildflower nectar. The company practices regenerative farming by planting Mānuka trees alongside other New Zealand natives on their farm.

Honey is bottled in New Plymouth and shipped everywhere, with exports to over 20 countries. You can buy online through their shop or visit their gift shop in New Plymouth.
