Lawson Armstrong and Laura Bailey founded Margaret River Organic Farmer in 2015 at Rosa Brook. The regenerative farm raises animals for food while working to improve its soils, waterways and wildlife habitat. Lawson is a fourth-generation farmer. Laura teaches sustainability and permaculture, and together they invite people to learn how their food is grown.
The farm sells organic pasture-raised eggs by the dozen or tray, egg pasta, grass-finished beef and lamb, seasonal pastured chicken and organic chicken broth. It also offers garden supplies such as biochar, worm castings and pelletised manure. Those products are separate from its food range.
The farm shop opens by appointment. Customers can also order online for next-day collection in Rosa Brook. Arrange a visit first; there are no regular walk-in hours stated.
