Noel and Debbie Granshaw run Mooloo Farm in Queensland’s Mary Valley. They practice regenerative farming with a herd of 120 mixed-breed cattle. The couple moved away from expensive fertilisers and agricultural chemicals. Instead, they use multi-species winter pasture to enrich the soil and support mycorrhizal fungi.
They sell grass-fed and finished chemical-free cattle direct to repeat customers through a home-delivery service.
In July 2026 the family hosted its second annual sunflower festival. It raised money for cancer and palliative care. Sunflower growing has also helped the farm reduce its use of fertilisers and agricultural chemicals.
