Arthur and Annamarie Dixon run Ongare Point Organics in the Western Bay of Plenty. After buying Pottsbury Farm in 2015, they developed a four-hectare organic horticulture business with 32 fruit and nut tree species in the orchard. The growers state that the operation holds full OrganicFarmNZ certification.
The online range includes avocados and macadamia nuts, with availability changing by season and harvest. Orders are picked for customers and shipped directly from the orchard. Check the current shop range before ordering; some varieties are marked out of season. Customers buy from across New Zealand, from Northland to Stewart Island.
The growers also sell at farmers markets and to organic retailers and co-op customers. Their own market information names the Hamilton Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. There is no public orchard shop address confirmed here. Use the online store or current market details to buy from the growers.
