The Berry Dairy is a family-owned strawberry farm, cafe and providore in Maffra, Gippsland. It grows spray-free strawberries for visitors to pick in season, usually October to May. The farm’s September 2026 update describes 25,000 new strawberry plants and changes to the picking fields for the new season.
A Farm Pass includes strawberry picking, a punnet and farm activities. Visitors can meet the animals, follow the Berry Dairy Discovery Trail and see the lavender when it is in flower. Dairy farm tractor tours and VIP animal feeding need bookings. General walk-ins are welcome.
Entry to the cafe, playgrounds and fenced dog park is free. The cafe serves real fruit ice cream as well as meals and drinks. Find the farm at 379 Mewburn Park Road. It opens Thursday to Monday from 10am to 4.30pm, with Fridays until 6pm; kitchen orders finish at 3pm. Tuesday and Wednesday are closed.
