Totara Tunnel Olives is a boutique organic olive grove located in Te Horo, Kāpiti. The farm follows organic principles and produces premium extra virgin olive oil that has received gold medals from the New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil awards for four years running (2018-2021). In 2021, their Frantoio oil won a gold medal at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition.
The grove operates off-grid using renewable energy sources. While the business is no longer part of the BioGro organics programme due to processor availability, they state that their grove practices will not be changing. All oil is certified extra virgin by Olives New Zealand.
Customers can order online or purchase from select outlets around New Zealand. The 2026 harvest is ready for sale on their product page.
