Otara Markets has been a part of South Auckland’s community for 50 years, evolving from humble beginnings in the 1970s into a busy Saturday event. The market brings together local businesses, families, and cultures to celebrate “whānau” and collective spirit. Visitors can find quality and affordable produce, including fresh vegetables, fruit, and plants.
Located in the car park behind the Otara Town Centre on Watford and Newbury Streets, the market operates on Saturdays from 6am to 12pm.
