The Willunga Farmers Market was set up in 2002 to give small producers a place to sell their food directly to customers. It was South Australia’s first farmers market.

The current venue is Willunga High School on Main Road. Open every Saturday from 8am to noon, rain, hail or shine, the market sells local fruit and vegetables, dairy, meat and poultry, baked goods, preserves and breakfast.

Stallholders include growers who use organic, chemical-free, biodynamic or regenerative methods. Members receive a 10 percent discount at all stalls.
