Yungaburra Markets began in 1977 and are run by the Yungaburra State School Parents and Citizens Association. Local growers, producers and makers gather at the Bruce Jones Market Grounds in the village. The market has up to 260 stalls, mixing fresh produce and food vendors with handmade goods, clothes and second-hand items. It is a community market with a food offer.
The 2026 schedule gives the fourth Saturday each month from January to November, then the third Sunday in December. Hours are 7.30am to 12.30pm. Check the date carefully: the fourth Saturday is not always the last Saturday of the month.
Bring cash. The organisers warn that internet access can be patchy enough to affect card payments, and there is no ATM on the grounds. Nearby street parking is free; paid parking at Maud Kehoe Park raises a small donation for the Yungaburra Lionesses. Keep driveways and local access clear.
