Greytown Honey is a family business run by fifth-generation beekeepers Alex and Karly Polaschek. They place their beehives on “untouched native bush sites” throughout the beautiful Wairarapa region to produce Mānuka, Kāmahi, Kānuka, Rewarewa, Native and Clover honey.

The honey is tested for MGO, DHA and NPA content before being packaged into glass jars. The range includes specialty gift boxes, beeswax food wraps, and candles. Visitors can join a Beekeeping Experience which includes a factory tour and a full honey tasting.

The factory shop, called The Honey Stables, is open Friday to Sunday from 10:30am to 2:30pm. It is located just off State Highway 2 between Featherston and Greytown, five minutes south of Greytown. Bookings are essential for group experiences.
