Jackson Orchards has been supplying New Zealand with Central Otago stonefruit since 1969. The family trust runs a working orchard in Cromwell where they grow cherries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, greengages, plums, apples and pears.
Visitors can shop at the roadside stall for fresh seasonal produce, fruit, preserves, honeys and dried goods. The orchard also offers guided tours on an electric bus, allowing guests to sample fruit picked directly from the tree during summer months.
Fruit is available for pre-order starting in October for cherries and November for other stonefruit.
