Pane Ora is a Dunedin bakery started by three friends, two surfers and a skater. Its name combines the Italian word for bread with the Māori word for good health.

The bakery makes gluten-free, plant-based breads and pastries, including hemp and buckwheat loaves, rosemary and olive focaccia, and cinnamon scrolls. It uses organic or spray-free flours. Bread mix is also available for baking at home.

Bakery pickups are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to noon at 37A Hargest Crescent, Dunedin.
