Sander and Emilie settled in Karamea in 2020 to launch The Dutch Oven, an artisan sourdough bakery.
The bakery specializes in handcrafted sourdough bread, French-style pastries, and viennoiseries. All items are made on-site using top-quality, local, and organic ingredients as much as possible.
Visit the bakery located at the end of the road in Karamea. It is open Wednesday to Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm for tea and fresh bakes.
