Volare began in a Hamilton garage in 2009 with two mates. The bakery makes bread and other baked goods daily. Its Pain Au Levain is made with spray-free New Zealand flour. Other breads include grain sourdough and a jalapeño and cheddar sourdough tin, alongside almond croissants, bagels, buns and English muffins.
The main bakery is at 45 Gallagher Drive in Melville, Hamilton. Volare also has shops on Grey Street in Hamilton East, Victoria Street in Cambridge, Gordonton Road in Greenhill Park and Alexandra Street in Te Awamutu.
Customers can order online for delivery across Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty, or visit a shop. Volare also sells at the Cambridge farmers market on Saturdays and Hamilton farmers market on Sundays. Wholesale enquiries are taken through the website.
